Location of Incident: Lot 82 (Maltz Performing Arts Center)
Date of Incident: 7/19/2016
Time of incident: Early morning hours
Incident description: Just before 1am an officer heard loud noises that might have been gunshots in the vicinity of Lot 82 (roughly a half mile walk from the main campus). After an extensive search, officers observed a small circular hole in one of the charter buses on sight: upon entering, they discovered a spent bullet inside the vehicle. The bullet was retrieved and turned over to the Cleveland police. No one was injured.
Suspect description: A witness later told officers of seeing someone in a white sedan firing a shot while travelling north on E.105th Street. No description of the occupant's of the vehicle are available at this time.
