The following incident took place off campus but CWRU PD would like to make the campus community aware.
Location of incident: In parking lot next to 2198 Murray Hill Road, Michelangelo's Restaurant
Date of incident: 1/9/17
Time of incident: 3:15 pm
Incident description: A female staff member was walking in the lot when she was approached by two male suspects who brandished a weapon and demanded the victim's backpack. After receiving the backpack the males fled on foot in a north bound direction.
Suspect description: Suspect # 1: A black male in his 20's, 5'8-5'10, wearing all black clothing including a black hooded sweatshirt and a black skullcap, brandishing a handgun.
Suspect # 2: A black male in his 20's, 5'8-5'10, thin build, black clothing, including a black cap and mustache.
Additional information: The victim was not injured.
