The Education Abroad Advisory Council (EAAC) convenes the expertise of faculty from all four of Case Western Reserve University's undergraduate schools and colleges, the School of Law, the School of Medicine and the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, as well as academic administrators to provide feedback and guidance in achieving the Office of Education Abroad's mission, goals and learning outcomes.
The EAAC oversees the approved program portfolio for yearlong, semester and summer study abroad opportunities for undergraduate students, including approving bilateral exchange agreements and consortium or membership status with partners. The EAAC supports the Office of Education Abroad in establishing and maintaining education abroad policies and procedures that ensure high-quality international courses and experiences for CWRU students, and fosters communication about education abroad to the different schools, colleges and administrative units of CWRU.
