The Education Abroad Advisory Council (EAAC) brings together faculty representatives from all four undergraduate schools and colleges, as well as the School of Law, School of Medicine, the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, and key academic administrators. This diverse group provides critical insight and guidance to support the Office of Education Abroad’s mission, goals, and student learning outcomes.
The EAAC is responsible for reviewing and overseeing Case Western Reserve University’s approved program portfolio for yearlong, semester, and summer study abroad opportunities. This includes approving bilateral exchange agreements and decisions related to consortium or membership affiliations with international partners.
In addition, the EAAC supports the development and maintenance of education abroad policies and procedures that promote safe, high-quality academic experiences for CWRU students. The Council also helps ensure consistent communication about education abroad across CWRU’s schools, colleges, and administrative units.
