This spring, UCITE's Book Club will be reading Radical Hope: A Teaching Manifesto by Kevin M. Gannon. This critically acclaimed book delves into issues within today's universities, and how these issues can be approached as opportunities for critical engagement. Topics included in the text range from impostor syndrome to cell phones in class to allegations of a campus “free speech crisis.” We'll discuss the book and how it applies to our own campus community and teaching throughout spring semester.
