Debra Nagy (GRS ‘07, Early Music Performance) Receives 2022 Cleveland Arts Prize

Debra Nagy (GRS ‘07, early music performance), the founder and artistic director of Les Délices, received a 2022 Cleveland Arts Prize in the mid-career artist category. The prestigious award is given annually to two artists in Northeast Ohio whose work has received regional and national recognition. Nagy is a baroque oboist and in 2009 launched Les Délices, an early music performance and community programming organization. She’s also on the faculty of the joint music program of Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Institute of Music.

Nagy is also the recipient of the Early Music America Laurette Goldberg Award for achievement in early music outreach. This award recognized ongoing, outstanding achievement in educational or outreach endeavors of individual performers, teaching artists, or ensembles.
