To have your organization or resource included in the LGBT Center’s resources directory submit a paragraph describing the organization and services or resources it provides. LGBT Center staff will review submissions for relevance.

The Bisexual Resource Center envisions a world where love is celebrated, regardless of sexual orientation or gender expression. Because bisexuals today are still misunderstood, marginalized and discriminated against, the BRC is committed to providing support to the bisexual community and raising public awareness about bisexuality and bisexual people.

National Black Trans Advocacy Coalition 

Established in 2011, The National Black Trans Advocacy Coalition is the only social justice organization led by black trans people to collectively address the inequities faced in the black transgender human experience. The National Black Trans Advocacy Coalition works with communities in the U.S. and across the globe to foster diversity, inclusion and equality for all people and is lead by the Black Transmen, Inc., Black Transwomen, Inc and Black Trans MX non profit organizations.

Campus Pride

Campus Pride is a national online community and resource network committed to student leaders and campus organizations who work to create a safer campus environment free of homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, heterosexism, and genderism at colleges and universities.

Consortium of Higher Education LGBT Resource Professionals

The combined vision and mission of the Consortium is to achieve higher education environments in which lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students, faculty, staff, administrators, and alumni have equity in every respect. Our goals are to support colleagues and develop curriculum to professionally enhance this work; to seek climate improvement on campuses; and to advocate for policy change, program development, and establishment of LGBT Office/Centers.

Freedom for All Americans

Freedom for All Americans is the national campaign dedicated to ensuring that every American, regardless of where they live, is protected under the law from discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity & expression. 

Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD)

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is dedicated to promoting and ensuring fair, accurate, and inclusive representation of people and events in the media as a means of eliminating homophobia and discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation.

The Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network (GLSEN)

The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, or GLSEN, is working to ensure safe and effective schools for all students.

The Human Rights Campaign

The Human Rights Campaign is the largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans. HRC envisions a world where lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people are embraced as full members of society at home, at work and in every community.

Lambda Legal Defense

Lambda Legal is a national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people, and those with HIV through impact litigation, education, and public policy work.

Lambda 10 Project

The Lambda 10 Project - National Clearinghouse for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Fraternity and Sorority Issues works to heighten the visibility of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender members of the college fraternity by serving as a clearinghouse for educational resources and educational materials related to sexual orientation and gender identity/expression as it pertains to the fraternity/sorority experience.

National Center for Transgender Equality

The National Center for Transgender Equality is a national social justice organization devoted to ending discrimination and violence against transgender people through education and advocacy on national issues of importance to transgender people.

The Association of LGBTQ Journalists

NLGJA is an organization that connects, informs, and supports journalists who are LGBTQA. There are chapters throughout the U.S., as well as a few in other countries. A significant part of the work includes working with undergraduate and graduate students, including those who have recently graduated. The organization employs students as interns at the National Office in Washington, DC. Students who are interested in journalism are invited to take part in the organization's student project--an opportunity to work as a real journalist mentored by big-name journalists at the annual convention.

The National LGBTQ Task Force

Currently the country's oldest, LGBT advocacy organization, the National LGBTQ Task Force advances full freedom, justice, and equality for LGBT people by mobilizing millions of activists across the nation. 

Parents, Family and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG)

Founded in 1972 with the simple act of a mother publicly supporting her gay son, PFLAG is the nation's largest family and ally organization. Uniting people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) with families, friends, and allies, PFLAG is committed to advancing equality and full societal affirmation of LGBTQ people through its threefold mission of support, education, and advocacy. 

The Point Foundation

The Point Foundation is the first and only nationwide lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender scholarship organization that focuses exclusively on granting assistance to undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate students of distinction. Point Scholars are chosen for their demonstrated leadership, scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities, involvement in the LGBT community, and financial or emotional need.
