SAVING LIVES IN ISRAEL; UNDERSTANDING THE MANY ROLES OF MAGEN DAVID ADOM (IN-PERSON)

Israel’s Magen David Adom (MDA), is the sole organization in the Middle East that is 100% invested in saving the lives of all people in the area—regardless of their religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or political views. What began in British Mandate Palestine with several Jewish doctors who set up a one room first-aid hut to treat victims of anti-Jewish violence is now a world-renowned first-responder organization with more than 3,000 employees and over 33,000 volunteers of all backgrounds. We will examine several of MDA’s cutting-edge practices and facilities, and delve into the critical role MDA has played in saving lives throughout Israel’s history.
