Join a powerful conversation with award-winning journalist Lee Yaron on her groundbreaking book, 10/7: 100 Human Stories. Yaron is the youngest-ever winner of the National Jewish Book Award’s Book of the Year (2024), alongside Philip Roth, Elie Wiesel, and David Grossman. The book received the Natan Fund’s Winter 2025 Notable Award and earned Yaron a place on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 (2025). Drawing on her extensive experience as an investigative reporter, Yaron explores how journalism can drive meaningful societal change, from influencing legislation to shaping public discourse. Through real-world examples and personal insights, the conversation examines how investigative reporting leads to changes in law and policy, and the complexities and moral responsibilities of reporting during crises. This talk offers a unique perspective on journalism’s vital role as a catalyst for societal change.  Light pastries will be served.
