The following incident took place off campus but CWRU PD would like the campus community to be aware
Location of incident: Hazel Road near East Boulevard
Date of incident: 10/6/16
Time of incident:10:15 pm
Incident description: A male student was sittingin a parked car on Hazel Road when a small dark colored older model four door vehicle pulled up next to him.
A suspect got out of the dark colored car and pulled on the door of the student's car. Upon finding the door locked the suspect brandished a black semi-automatic pistol with a long barrel. When the student did not open the door the suspect got back in the dark colored auto wich drove off and turned on East Boulevard.
Suspect description: The suspect vehicle was occupied by 3-4 black males between 18-22 years old. The suspect who brandished the weapon is described as a black male, 18-22 years old, short hair, thin build, wearing a dark colored long sleeve shirt and dark colored long pants.
Additional information: The victim was not injured.
