National Black MBA Association

Weatherhead School of Management has partnered with the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA), a 20,000-member organization across 40 professional chapters focused on increasing awareness and facilitating access to graduate and business education programs in professional fields, through the NBMBAA Collegiate Partnership Program.

NBMBAA’s Collegiate Partnership Program is designed to establish long-term holistic partnerships with institutions of higher education with a goal to ultimately increase placement rates of student members and the overall impact of NBMBAA in education and wealth creation. The partnership includes access to graduate business scholarships for full-time MBA students, case competitions, and the annual conference for career and internship placement, networking and professional development.

Prospanica

In partnership with the Prospanica (formerly the National Association of Hispanic MBAs), the Weatherhead School of Management will select up to three scholars each year to advance the future of Hispanic-American business leaders. Each candidate will receive a scholarship, an industry professional mentor, a stipend for student membership, travel, and registration to attend the national conference for additional career and professional development, as well as access to 250+ employers.

Open to those enrolling in the full-time offerings of the MBA, accountancy, business analytics, supply chain and finance programs.

The PhD Project

The PhD Project was founded upon the premise that advancements in workplace diversity could be propelled forward by increasing the diversity of business school faculty. The PhD Project helps Black/African American, Latinx/Hispanic American and Native Americans attain their PhDs and become business professors who will mentor the next generation of leaders. Weatherhead School of Management is proud to be a participating university. Learn more about the PhD Project.
