Final Admission Decision
If the Department of Music recommends an applicant for admission, the School of Graduate Studies will review their record and make the final admission decision. The applicant will receive an email notification prompting them to log back into the online application system. Please note that an admission decision is only final when the applicant receives an email notification from the School of Graduate Studies. If admitted, the applicant will need to accept or decline their offer of admission in the applicant system. Accepting our offer initiates the matriculation process, and the student will receive a CWRU Network ID. For international students, accepting our offer will also set the Visa process in motion with the Center for International Affairs.
Note: Due to the variety of our programs and faculty committees, admission decisions are not released on a single set date. We will make every effort to make admission decisions in a timely fashion.
