Prospective Students

Graduate Program Admission

Individual departments within the School of Graduate Studies first review and recommend applicants for admission. Applicants must then be approved by the dean of Graduate Studies.

Prospective students are encouraged to review this section for information on all aspects of admission, including the degree programs offered through the School of Graduate Studies and our many unique dual degree opportunities, as well as comprehensive guide through the application process.

Applicants with good academic records from fully accredited universities and colleges will be considered for admission to graduate study at Case Western Reserve University. Admission must be recommended by the department or professional school of the university in which the applicant proposes to study and then must be approved by the dean of graduate studies.
