THE OPPORTUNITY
The MetroLab Network is offering a Civic Research Innovation Prize only for students from across MetroLab's member colleges and universities.
Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to pitch innovative, civic-oriented community projects that they would carry out in partnership with their local government agency or community partner. This live pitch competition will be judged by a panel of local government staff, community partners, and academics from MetroLab Network's membership.
Projects can be civic research, civic data, civic technology, or civic design projects. They may be qualitative or quantitative in nature (or a mix of both!).
The three top scoring projects will be awarded $5K each in grants to execute their ideas, and an opportunity to join MetroLab Network's Civic Research Network.
