CWRU Alert: An individual was shot in the leg during an armed robbery in which their vehicle (a Volkswagen Jetta) was stolen. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is reported to be in stable condition.
The suspect(s) fled from the scene of the crime (2043 Random Road) in the victim’s vehicle and believed to be out of the area.
Cleveland, University Circle and CWRU police are investigating.
