Angela Tsang, piano, is a fourth-year student at Case Western Reserve University, pursuing degrees in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, and music. She studies piano with Dr. Sean Schulze through the Joint Music Program. A versatile musician, Angela was a winner of the 2023 CWRU Concerto Competition, performing Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy with the Case/University Circle Symphony Orchestra and Case Concert Choir, and a recipient of the 2024 Joan Terr Ronis Memorial Recital Prize.
In addition to piano, Angela is an accomplished violinist, having served as concertmaster and sectional principal in the Case/University Circle Symphony Orchestra. She is also an avid chamber musician, frequently collaborating with ensembles at CWRU and performing with her sister, Fiona, a cellist.
Beyond her music studies, Angela is a BS/MS student in electrical engineering, conducting research under Dr. Evren Gurkan-Cavusoglu. She is actively involved in the Society of Women Engineers, Tau Beta Pi, and Mortar Board.

Florence Harkness Memorial Chapel (est. 1902) is known for its Tiffany stained-glass windows, soaring arches, and exquisite woodwork. The neo-Gothic structure, located on Mather Quad at Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH), commemorates the brief life of Florence Harkness Severance. The chapel offers a warm, intimate, and acoustically resonant space for Department of Music performances, lectures, and special events.
The CWRU Music Concert Series offers free concerts and student recitals in the stunning Harkness Chapel. These performances highlight the exceptional talents of CWRU students and faculty, providing the broader community with opportunities to enjoy high-quality live music in an intimate and historic setting.
