The program covers a wide spectrum of personal and work-related challenges and daily living matters—from stress/family issues to depression, anxiety, substance abuse, legal and financial pressures, child and elder-care needs, and other commonly experienced concerns.

24/7 In-the-moment Support by Phone

For immediate, in-the-moment support needs, professional phone support is available around the clock, unlimited, for you and your family members. Just call 1-800-227-6007. Your call will be answered immediately by a qualified master's- or doctoral-level mental health professional, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Counseling Sessions

Employees of CWRU and their immediate family members (spouse/partner, dependents 26 and younger, parents/parents-in-law, household members) are eligible for 5 counseling sessions per issue, per year. This means employees and eligible family members can receive another authorization for sessions before the 1-year mark if they have a distinctly new presenting issue to address. Otherwise, employees and eligible family members can receive another authorization for the same presenting concern one year after their initial request.

Employees and eligible family members are welcome to contact the EAP at any time to determine eligibility for a new set of sessions and/or to receive in-the-moment support from an intake counselor. AllOne Health has 835 providers in Cuyahoga County and 3,907 in the surrounding counties.

BetterHelp EAP Sessions

When utilizing EAP Counseling Sessions through BetterHelp, it is important to note what can count as a session. A scheduled video or phone call can be considered a session, as well as any written communication with your counselor greater than 500 characters. If you have a scheduled session during the same week you send a message greater than 500 characters, it is not considered an additional session.

Note: The use of 24/7 In-the-moment Support services does not count toward the usage of your 5 counseling sessions per issue, per year.
