Staff Conflict Mediation

Interpersonal conflict and communication problems in the workplace can be challenging and complicated to navigate alone. By coming together with hope for conflict resolution, open dialogue can help prevent damage to between employees and build a bridge toward stronger collaboration.

Mediation is a process where a neutral third party (the mediator) helps resolve disputes between two people, facilitating open communication and perspective sharing, and helping employees reach mutually agreeable solutions. Mediation is:

  • highly confidential and informal
  • voluntary in most situations
  • available to staff employees

To request or recommend Staff Conflict Mediation Services, please contact the HR Service Center at AskHR@case.edu or 216-368-6964. You need only share your name and CWRU contact information; details of your specific situation will be discussed privately with a mediator.
