Case Western Reserve University provides sick pay to employees (faculty, executive staff, and staff) which may be used throughout the year, intermittently or continuously. In addition to personal illness or medical reasons, paid sick days can cover bereavement, parenting for foster custody care, family illness or family medical reasons (see the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) Absences and Leave policy for more information).
