Crime: Aggravated Robbery / Motor Vehicle
Location of incident: Chester Avenue at Martin Luther King Jr. Drive
Date of Incident: June 11, 2020
Time of Incident: 5:30 a.m.
Incident Description: A female reported that she was stopped at a red light when a red vehicle pulled up behind her and a male exited the vehicle. The suspect, armed with a handgun, approached the victim’s vehicle and ordered the victim out of her vehicle. The suspect then entered the vehicle and proceeded northbound on MLK. The red vehicle, which was occupied by two additional people wearing masks, followed the victim’s vehicle northbound on MLK. The victim was not physically injured and reported the incident to police.
Suspect(s) Description: The victim described the suspect as a black male with dark skin, in his early 20s, with a short mustache and goatee, and wearing dark clothing.
Additional information: The suspect vehicle was recovered and will be processed for evidence. The suspect(s) had not been located at the time of the report.
