Carshare is back at CWRU! The membership-based program from Enterprise, suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic after an eight-year run, has returned with rentals convenient to student dormitories and the Uptown retail area.
Carshare members save on the cost of car ownership, maintenance, and parking as carshare vehicles can be rented as needed on an hourly or daily basis. Carshare membership also serves as a back-up plan in case of emergency or when a personal vehicle goes down due to unexpected maintenance.

New to the carshare fleet is a hybrid Chrysler Pacifica minivan. "Student groups have long asked for a larger capacity vehicle," according to Michael Kurutz, program administrator from the CWRU Travel Office. "The Pacifica's additional seating is perfect for group outings and events. With fold-down rear seats and large cargo area, the minivan can also help transport boxes and small furniture items."
In addition, CWRU carshare currently includes two Toyota Priuses and a Toyota RAV4 crossover.
Additional information and membership sign-up can be found at the Enterprise Carshare website. Download the Enterprise Carshare app at the Apple App Store or Google Play.
