Andrew Director is a senior at Case Western Reserve University, graduating this semester with dual degrees in Music (BA) and Finance (BS). He began playing the tuba in 2013 and, since arriving at CWRU in fall 2022, has served as principal tubist of Symphonic Winds. He has also performed regularly with the Case/University Circle Symphony Orchestra and the CWRU Chamber Collective Brass Ensemble, contributing to a wide range of ensemble performances across campus.

Andrew has studied tuba performance with Dr. Ryan Scherber throughout his time at CWRU, developing both his technical and musical artistry. His academic experience reflects a strong commitment to combining musical excellence with broader interdisciplinary interests.

Following graduation, Andrew will pursue a graduate degree in music education at Hofstra University, where he plans to continue his training as an educator and future band director. Outside of his academic and musical pursuits, he enjoys lifting weights, watching movies, and hiking.
