About The Program
Noah Allemeier, cello, presents his senior recital featuring selections from Mieczysław Weinberg’s Sonata for Cello Solo, John Allemeier’s Folklore with Zoe Buff, violin, and Benjamin Britten’s Suite No. 1 for Solo Cello, with Anusha Bangalore, cello.
Noah Allemeier is a graduating senior at Case Western Reserve University earning BA degrees in both Music and Political Science, along with minors in Public Policy, Economics, and Ethics. A cellist since childhood, he previously studied at the UNC School of the Arts under Dr. Brooks Whitehouse and has participated in numerous summer festivals and orchestras across the United States.
At CWRU, Noah performed with the University Circle Symphony Orchestra, participated in chamber music, and served as an executive member of the Music Undergraduate Student Involvement Committee (M.U.S.I.C.). He was inducted into Mortar Board and Phi Sigma Tau, received the Phi Beta Kappa Prize in 2024, and earned Dean’s High Honors each semester. Following graduation, he will continue his studies in the Master of Public Administration program at James Madison University.

Venue Information
Florence Harkness Memorial Chapel (est. 1902) offers a warm, intimate, and acoustically resonant setting on the Mather Quad. This neo-Gothic landmark commemorates the brief life of Florence Harkness Severance and reflects Cleveland’s rich cultural and philanthropic history. Designed by architect Charles F. Schweinfurth, the chapel is renowned for its soaring arches, exquisite woodwork, and luminous Tiffany stained-glass windows.
