The CWRU Women in Biochemistry (WiB) Society aims to create a safe space for women to learn from faculty and their peers through mentoring, career panels, and other events. Our monthly meetings enable students to connect with one another and cultivate a sense of community and belonging. Through our mentorship regime at our meetings, students will be matched with a mentor (an upperclassman, graduate student, postdoctoral fellow, or faculty member) to gain insight into the field and connect with the community here on campus. Through our supportive network and panel events related to advice and career goals, students can learn about the different avenues available for those interested in the biochemistry field.
