The CWRU Women in Biochemistry (WiB) Society is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive community for women and allies in biochemistry. Our mission is to provide a safe space where members can come together to learn, connect, and share their experiences through open discussion and peer-driven support. Bimonthly WiB meetings offer opportunities for dialogue on topics most relevant to our community, including academic challenges, career exploration, and personal growth. Alongside these discussions, we offer structured programming such as guided mentorship with peers and faculty, professional panels, and community-building socials. By prioritizing the voices and concerns of our members, WiB aims to empower women in biochemistry to build confidence, form meaningful relationships, and access resources that support both their academic and professional journeys at CWRU and beyond.
