Dr. Wendy Liu obtained her medical degree in China and her Ph.D. degree from the University of Virginia. She trained as a resident in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She then stayed on as a junior staff in the Anatomic Pathology department where she worked in the area of gastrointestinal pathology. In 2004, Dr. Liu was appointed as pathologist at University Hospitals Case Medical Center and as an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Case Western Reserve University.

Research Interests
The molecular pathogenesis of gastrointestinal tumors and soft tissue tumors.
