Events

A main priority of the Postdoc Office and the Postdoc Association is to ensure that our postdocs across campus feel connected and involved in the CWRU community. Our events are meant to bring together people across different disciplines and backgrounds to connect and learn from one another.

Resume/CV Roundtable

We will be meeting informally as a group to review each other's resumes, CVs, cover letters, biosketches, LinkedIn, etc (whatever you want us to take a look at). This is a chance to get input from your fellow postdocs on things you could improve in terms of vocabulary, formatting, fonts/bullet points, and hard hitting language. We will work together as a group to make comments on each other's documents. Feel free to share yours or just soak up the information!

Location: Biomedical Research Building (BRB) Auditorium
Date: Thursday, August 8th
Time: 1 - 2:30pm
Format: We will spend about 5-7 minutes pulling up each person's resume/CV (or whatever document you want to share) on the big screen and getting group feedback.
Instructions: Work on your resume/CV over the next month and then drop them in this Google Drive folder prior to the meeting.
