About National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW)

National Postdoc Appreciation Week is a celebration highlighting the contributions of postdoctoral scholars. Since 2009, the National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) has sponsored this week of recognition, and in 2010 it was officially recognized by the U.S. House of Representatives.

Each year, institutions across the U.S. and beyond host events to honor postdocs, build community, and raise awareness of their impact.
