CWRU Security Alert 12/21/21

Case Western Reserve University Division of Public Safety

This incident occurred off campus, but because of the proximity to the university, CWRU police would like the campus community to be aware.

Crime: Armed robbery

Location of incident: Murray Hill at East 125th Street

Date of Incident: Dec. 21, 2021

Time of Incident: 9:05 p.m.

Incident Description: A Case Western Reserve student was walking when approached by two suspects who robbed the victim at gunpoint, taking their cellphone, wallet and vehicle (a black Mercedes GLA250 with Ohio license plates #JCG7850). The suspects fled the scene in the victim's vehicle. The victim was uninjured.

Suspect(s) Description: The suspects are described as two Black males in their 20s, the first one approximately 5’10” with dreadlocks and wearing a blue hoodie and black jeans; the other approximately 5'11".
