Residents have 24/7 continuous access to their specific residential facility. This is to accommodate busy schedules and allow residents to come and go as they please. We encourage residents to keep track of their access keys and cards at all times to ensure they can get in safely and at any time.
Access Cards & Keys should NEVER be given over to another person. This includes: guests, parents/guardians, emergency contacts, friends, roommates, neighbors, or anyone else. The only exception is when a University Official asks for your Student ID Card to identify you in a specific situation.
Community Access
Residents can access residence halls within their residential community during the following times:
- Weekdays: 9am-midnight on weekdays
- Weekends: 11am-midnight on weekends
Note: residents utilizing community access are still considered guests within that community and should be hosted by a resident in that building. Exceptions are granted when a resident is attending a community event or meeting.
