Students in residence halls at Case Western Reserve University can access the Internet at speeds of up to one Gigabit per second (Gbps) . The residence halls' connection to the Internet uses the same ISP the rest of the university does, which is OARnet, the Ohio Academic Research Network. OARnet connects research universities across the state and provides Internet connectivity. In addition to Internet bandwidth, OARnet provides content caching bandwidth which provides high-speed access to content from popular platforms such as Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Facebook, etc.
