Case Western Reserve University is pleased to announce [You]Tech 2019: Inspire/Aspire, a conference event featuring keynote speaker Jaime Casap, Google's Education Evangelist, on Tuesday, July 30th 2019 on the campus of Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). This daylong event will showcase the talent within University Technology at CWRU. Staff members of UTech will step up and share their expertise, along with projects that are new and cutting edge on campus to an audience of approximately 300-400 colleagues, campus faculty, students, staff and leadership, technology professionals from regional higher-ed institutions, and technology and vendor partners from Northeast Ohio.
Jaime Casap's keynote presentation, made possible by support from Google, will include inspiring ideas related to the future of learning, the next generation of students, retaining students as learners over a lifetime, and how higher education can help students convert information into intelligence. Casap will start his presentation at 9:00 am. The keynote will be followed by approximately 30 presentations throughout the day. Topics are as far-reaching as virtual reality, security issues, and Generation Z learners. There will be opportunities to interact with hands-on equipment, to speak with individual presenters.
