Semester Refund Policy

Permit Type Last Date to Request Refund and Return Permit Notes:
Fall Semester Permits 4:00pm on November 1 (or last  business day prior) Any outstanding fees (including violations) on your parking account will be deducted from your refund amount.
Spring Semester Permits 4:00pm on April 1(or last  business day prior) Any outstanding fees (including violations) on your parking account will be deducted from your refund amount.

Parking permits that were purchased using cash, check or credit card may be returned to Parking Services for a prorated refund and will be processed by check or credit card, according to original payment method.

To get a refund

  • Return of the permit and gate card (if applicable) to the Access Services
  • Requesting a refund in writing from the Parking Office
  • Having no outstanding parking citations on file

The person will be refunded a pro-rated amount and the balance of their paid fee, minus any other charges including citations. The permit return date will be used to determine the amount of the refund. Refund requests for permits not returned to the parking office will not be processed.

NOTE: There are no refunds given for monthly, summer or temporary permit types.

No refunds will be issued for motorcycle/moped permits.
