You are required to display your parking permit in your vehicle.  If you park in the 78 Garage, please review the 78 garage instructions.

If you are a resident in Lot 46, you must park past the sign on the 3rd floor in garage 46. 

If you need assistance exiting a parking gate, please call SP+ Parking at 216-368-1312.

CWRU utilizes License Plate Recognition (LPR) Technology.  Please make sure to add your current vehicles to your parking permit on the parking portal. Vehicles must park with their license plates facing the drive lane. Please review this document for detailed instructions on how to add your vehicle and the new regulations. 

Frequently Asked Questions:

I am a student, when can I purchase summer parking?  You can purchase summer parking now online on the parking portal or in person at the Student Access Services Center located in Tinkham Veale University Center across from the information desk open Mon- Fri 9am to 4pm.  Summer Parking must end by Aug 14.

I am a student, when will Fall Parking Renewals take place?  Fall renewal emails with instructions to renew for Fall will be sent out between May 15 to May 22- check your email on those dates for instructions to renew your Fall parking.

I am a new student- when will I be able to purchase parking for Fall?  New students will be able to purchase parking by June 10th online.

Parking Rates

The university has limited parking facilities. Parking permits are tailored for faculty, staff, contractors, students and visitors. Rates vary by facility and season.

Summer Parking

Summer Parking for students is now available for purchase online and in person at the Tinkham Veale University Center Mon- Fri 9am to 4pm.  Login to the parking portal to purchase summer parking and add yourself to the waitlist for Fall semester.  Staff and Faculty can switch lots for summer starting on June 1st, 2026.
