Jessica L. G. Steuver (pronounced STY-ver), she/her, is a passionate music educator, clinician, performer and lifelong learner. Originally from South Euclid, OH, Jessica received her Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Bowling Green State University, where she specialized in Choral Music Education. Jessica and her husband moved to Cincinnati in 2012, where she taught early childhood and elementary general music, and middle school choir. Additionally, she headed musical theater and show choir programs and developed curriculum for new Music Technology and History of Rock ‘n Roll courses.

Jessica earned her Master of Music in Music Education from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in the spring of 2022, where she served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Jessica returned to Cleveland in the fall of 2022 to begin the PhD program in Music Education at Case Western Reserve University, where she currently serves as University Chorale director and conducts research in intersectional feminism in music and mental health and choral participation post-COVID-19. In addition to her work at CWRU, Jessica serves as the Artistic Director of Windsong, Cleveland’s Feminist Chorus, and alto section leader/professional chorister at the First Baptist Church of Greater Cleveland.
