The CWRU Chamber Collective provides the Case Western Reserve University community the chance to make music in a fully student-led environment. Harmonie Winds was started by Emma Bentley in January 2022 as a wind consort of 9 to 10 members. Jacob Shaw created the CWRU Clarinet Choir in February 2022 as an opportunity to perform in an ensemble with other dedicated clarinetists. Most recently, the CWRU Brass Ensemble was formed by Jacob in May 2022 for community members to make music in an all-brass setting. After his graduation, directorship of his two ensembles was handed to Emma Bentley and Georgia Martinez respectively.

Most recently, the CWRU Chamber Collective Small Ensembles started to provide opportunities for musicians at CWRU to explore additional repertoire in a smaller ensemble setting. Unlike the traditional chamber music courses, the entire repertoire selection and rehearsal process is overseen solely by students.
