Tina A. Roan-Lining is a higher education and academic medicine leader with nearly two decades of experience advancing faculty excellence, organizational effectiveness, and institutional strategy. A Cleveland native, she earned her bachelor's degree from Capital University and her master's degree from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
Throughout her career, Tina has held progressive leadership roles at Case Western Reserve University and Ursuline College, where she developed and led strategic initiatives supporting faculty success, organizational culture, leadership development, and institutional effectiveness. As Senior Director of Faculty Development in the School of Medicine, she provides strategic leadership for faculty recruitment, retention, career advancement, mentoring, leadership development, and evidence-based programming that supports faculty across all career stages.
Previously, as Senior Director for the School of Medicine, Tina led institution-wide initiatives that strengthened faculty, staff, and learner engagement while fostering collaborative partnerships across the university, its affiliated health systems, and the broader community. She also spearheaded the implementation of the Accountability Management System, working collaboratively with institutional leadership, Human Resources, Compliance, General Counsel, and academic partners to support accountability, professional standards, and effective resolution of workplace concerns.
Recognized for her collaborative leadership and commitment to organizational excellence, Tina is dedicated to developing innovative programs and institutional strategies that strengthen academic medicine, promote faculty success, and advance excellence in education, research, patient care, and community engagement.
