Founded in 1866, University Hospitals serves the needs of patients through an integrated network of 21 hospitals (including five joint ventures), more than 50 health centers and outpatient facilities, and over 200 physician offices in 16 counties throughout northern Ohio. As one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers, University Hospitals is home to some of the most prestigious clinical and research programs in the nation, with more than 3,200 active clinical trials and research studies underway.
MetroHealth System
Senior Associate Dean: John Chae, MD
Founded in 1837, MetroHealth is Cuyahoga County's safety-net health system, caring for anyone and everyone—regardless of ability to pay—through four hospitals, four emergency departments, and more than 20 health centers and 40 additional sites. As an academic medical center, MetroHealth is also committed to research and to teaching and training tomorrow’s caregivers.
Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center
