Why Academic Medicine

Collaboration between Case Western Reserve School of Medicine and our affiliated hospital systems—Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, MetroHealth System and Louis Stokes VA—is at the core of achieving our mission to create medical breakthroughs through research and train the physicians of tomorrow.

Our academic environment promotes our strategic vision of being the glue for health education and research across Cleveland's academic medical centers.

Our clinical faculty across our five campuses are delivering on our mission to make people's lives better by providing more than 80% of the patient care for patients in Northeast Ohio.
