The culmination of medical school is almost here!
Match Day is an annual, nationwide event where graduating medical students across the country find out which hospitals or medical centers they have matched to for their residency training. Coordinated by the National Resident Matching Program in Washington, D.C., this year’s Match Day is Friday, March 19.
Livestream ceremonies for School of Medicine graduates and families begin at 11 a.m. EST. Then, at noon, students receive what they’ve been waiting for—an email letting them know where they will spend the next years of their lives training to become pediatricians, surgeons, neurologists, or physicians in other specialties.
Watch for more information about Match Day 2021 over the next few weeks!
