Community Partnerships

Collaborative Care

Community engagement is a core component of our mission at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

We believe that medicine's greatest purpose is realized not just in laboratories and lecture halls, but in the neighborhoods, clinics and communities where people live. Through deep, sustained partnerships with Greater Cleveland's leading health systems and community organizations, we work side by side with the people we serve—listening, learning and driving meaningful change in health outcomes locally and beyond.

Where Learning Meets Impact

For students at CWRU School of Medicine, community engagement is an integral part of medical training. Through health screenings, our Student-Run Health Clinic and a range of community-based experiences, our students bring their skills beyond campus and into the lives of the people who need them most.

These experiences don't just make better physicians. They shape more empathetic, equity-minded leaders who understand that exceptional care begins with understanding the communities you serve.
