Marshall Lecture, featuring distinguished speaker Shawneequa Callier, J.D., M.A. Bioethics. Professor Callier, Associate Professor of Clinical Research and Leadership at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, will deliver a lecture titled "From Data to Measurable Actions: Advancing Equity in Genomics Research" This annual lecture series showcases scholarship on advancing health equity in genomics. Dr. Callier brings nearly two decades of experience analyzing the ethical, legal, and social implications of emerging technologies in genomics research and data science. Dr. Callier's expertise includes her work as a Special Volunteer at the National Human Genome Research Institute's Center for Research on Genomics and Global Health, and her background as a Postdoctoral Scholar at CWRU's Center for Genetic Research Ethics and Law. The lecture is open to the public, and interested parties can register through the CHANGE website. A reception will follow the lecture.
