Research Projects
The research in Singh laboratory is broadly focused on the pathophysiology of iron in disorders of the brain and the eye. Current interests in the lab include:
- Iron cycling in the eye.
- Pathophysiology of iron in corneal infections, glaucoma, and cataract.
- The eye as a model to understand the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and Prion disorders.
