This certificate provides essential public health training with the much-needed flexibility needed to fit into busy schedules.
The Certificate in Public Health is a five-course graduate program that includes 12 credits of core coursework and 3 credits of elective coursework.
We offer excellent faculty mentorship and opportunities for career guidance and community internships.
Application Process
Applicants will submit their Public Health Certificate application materials to the Case Western Reserve University School of Graduate Studies for admission initially as “non-degree” students. More information on the certificate application process can be found here.
Required materials include a statement of purpose, CV or resumé, bachelor’s degree transcript, and at least one letter of reference from the applicant’s current employer or recent academic advisor/instructor. The statement of purpose should describe how the applicant will utilize this advanced public health training to positively impact our community and public health workforce. Applicants should notify the MPH Program of their completed submission by emailing mph-info@case.edu.
Application materials should be submitted no later than December 30th (Spring Admission), May 1st (Summer Admission) or August 1st (Fall Admission).
