Student Renewal Parking Info

Renewals can only be made during the renewal periods.   Email will be sent with instructions and dates/ deadlines to renew in November and June.

How to Renew Your Permit 

  1. Open the following link: https://caseparking.t2hosted.com/cmn/auth_ext.aspx.
  2. Log in using your Case network ID and password.  Do not set up or use a guest account.
  3. Click the link near the bottom of the page that states “purchase permits.”
  4. From there, choose the permit with the beginning date that best suits your needs.  The end date will be set to the last day of the semester automatically.
  5. Follow the instructions to check out.

 

Important Information

  • The start date of the permit must be selected. The end date is automatically set to the end of the semester.
  • If you cancel your parking permit during the semester, you will lose your parking space and it will be offered to the next person on the parking waitlist.
  • Any unpaid citations on your parking account must be paid for before purchasing a new parking permit.
  • A valid license plate number must be entered into the system in order to complete your purchase.

  • Permits that have not been picked up from Access Services by the deadline of mid- February in Spring semester and mid-September for Fall semester will be refunded and offered to the next person on the parking waiting list.  There will be a $25 restocking fee removed from your refund as well as any outstanding citations on your record.
  • All permits are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.

 

Important Dates

  • May 1st –  All student waiting lists dissolve.
    • If you want to continue on a waiting list, you must add yourself again on this date or after.
  • Beginning of June –  Student fall semester renewal emails are sent and students are able to renew their Spring permits for Fall semester before the deadline set.
    • If you fail to renew your semester permit during the renewal period, you will possibly lose your spot in your current lot.
  • Mid to Late June –  All available lots become ready for sale for students after the renewal period has ended.
    • All permits are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Once parking lots fill, the waiting list will be processed for any additional openings.  Emails will be sent to students on the waiting list for any spaces that become available in their desired lot.  Students will purchase these permits but must do so within the date indicated in the email.
  • Sept 15th or last business day prior – Last day to pick up Fall permit.  Permits not picked up and used will be refunded and their parking space will be offered to the next person on the waitlist.
  • Oct 15th or last business day prior – Last day to return Fall permits for a pro-rated refund.  See the refunds page for more information on refunds.
  • Around the End of November – Renewal period for Fall permits begin.  Students can renew their Fall permits for the Spring semester.
    • If you fail to renew your semester permit during the renewal period, you will possibly lose your spot in your current lot.
  • End of Fall Semester – Permits purchased for Fall Semester will expire.
  • Winter break parking – If you need to park over winter break you can either start your Spring semester permit early or come in person to the Student Access Services Center in Tinkham Veale University Center along with your vehicle information to purchase a temporary permit to cover winter break.
  • Late December – Access Services closes for Winter Recess.
  • Early January – Access Services re-opens.
  • Early January – Last Day for permits to be mailed. 
    • Any permit purchased after January 1st, will NOT be shipped. They will only be available for pick up at Access Services by the permit holder only with a valid CWRU ID card.
  • Early- Mid January –  After the renewal period, the waiting list will be processed.  The waiting list will be reviewed, and emails sent to students on the waiting for any spaces available in their desired lot.  Students will purchase these permits but must do so within the date indicated in the email.
  • February 15th or last business day prior – Last day to pick up Spring permit.  Permits not picked up and used will be refunded and their parking space will be offered to the next person on the waitlist.
  • March 15th or last business day prior – Last day to return Spring permits for a refund.
  • End of Spring Semester – Permits purchased for Spring Semester will expire.

If you fail to renew your Fall or Spring semester permit during the renewal period, you will possibly lose your spot in your current lot.
