How to Renew Your Permit 

  • Open the following link in Internet Explorer: https://caseparking.t2hosted.com/cmn/auth_ext.aspx.
  • Log in using your Case network ID and password.  Do not set up or use a guest account.
  • Click the link near the bottom of the page that states “purchase permits.”
  • From there, choose the permit with the beginning date that best suits your needs. ** (the end date will be set to the last day of the semester)
  • Follow the instructions to check out.

Important Information

  • The start date of the permit must be selected. The end date is automatically set to the end of the semester.
  • If you cancel your parking permit during the semester, you will lose your parking space and it will be offered to the next person on the parking waitlist.
  • Any unpaid citations on your parking account must be paid for before purchasing a new parking permit.
  • A valid license plate number must be entered into the system in order to complete your purchase.
  • Renewals can only be made during the renewal period.  See important dates and deadlines below.

Important Dates

All permits are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Mid November – Renewal for Fall permits begin.

Last day of Fall semester  - Fall renewal ends.

After the renewal period - The waiting list will be reviewed/calls made.

If you need to park over winter break you can either start your Spring semester permit early or come in person to the Student Access Services Center in Tinkham Veale University Center along with your vehicle information to purchase a temporary permit to cover winter break.

Late December – Access Services closes for Winter Recess.

Early January – Access Services re-opens.

Late January to Early February - Last Day to pick up Spring permit.

March 15th or Business Day Prior – Last day to return Spring permits for a refund.

Early May – All student waiting lists dissolve. (If you want to continue on a waiting list, you must add yourself again on this date or after).

End of Spring Semester – Permits purchased for Spring Semester will expire.

Mid to Late June – All available lots become ready for sale for students. *

*Permits are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. You must use a desktop browser to ring out your purchase. You must provide your vehicle information and have paid all outstanding violations before purchase.

Deadlines

Last day of Fall semester – Deadline to renew
All fall semester permits that are not renewed by the deadline, will be offered to the next person on the parking waiting list for that particular lot.

After the renewal period – Waiting list reviewed
The waiting list will be reviewed, and emails sent to students on the waiting for any spaces available in their desired lot. Students will purchase these permits but must do so within the date indicated in the email.

Early January – Last Day for permits to be mailed
Any permit purchased after early January, will NOT be shipped. They will only be available for pick up at Access Services by the permit holder only with a valid CWRU ID card.

Late January to Early February – Deadline to pick up purchased permits

Permits that have not been picked up from Access Services by the deadline at 4 pm will be refunded and offered to the next person on the parking waiting list. There will be a $25 restocking fee removed from your refund, as well as any outstanding citations on your record.

March 15th or Business Day Prior, 4 pm; – Deadline to cancel Spring parking for a refund.
It is the last day to cancel your spring semester parking to get a refund for the unused time.

Warnings

If you fail to renew your Fall or Spring semester permit during the renewal period, you will possibly lose your spot in your current lot.
