[U]Tech has announced that NotebookLM, a new artificial intelligence-powered note-taking tool from Google, is now available to all students, faculty and staff.
NotebookLM combines traditional note-taking with advanced AI capabilities. Users can ask questions of their own content, such as uploaded files, YouTube videos, webpages or documents stored in their Google Drive. NotebookLM will generate summaries, study guides, briefing documents, outlines, practice quizzes and more based on the information you provided. Users can even make a podcast-style audio summary of the source content.
The Plus version of NotebookLM, which includes additional features, is available to users with a Gemini for Google Workspace license, which can be purchased by faculty and staff. Learn more on UTech's AI page.
