Restricted Data Options
These materials contain sensitive data, such as social security numbers, student information or health data. This requires storage that is HIPAA and FERPA compliant. Contact the Service Desk at email@example.com to schedule a storage consultation.
Non-Restricted Data Options
These materials do not contain sensitive data.
Personal data should not be stored in university services. Use Google Takeout to move your storage to a non-CWRU location, such as a personal OneDrive or Dropbox account or a flash drive or external hard drive. Google also provides a Takeout transfer tool to move the personal data stored in your CWRU Google account directly to a personal Google account
You can keep your information in Google Workspace.
If you need storage for standard collaborative documents, such as word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, etc, consider moving to Microsoft 365 or Box. Check out our Box migration guide and our Office 365 migration guide for more information.
