The CWRU Wired Network operates at speeds from one to 100 Gigabytes per second. It consists of both fiber optic and Category 5 Ethernet ports for both data and voice.

The Wired Network provides access to commodity Internet, residential networks, and high-speed intra-institution data transfer for researchers and faculty and members.
Customers
The Wired Network is available to CWRU faculty, staff and students through the use of the ports on distributed faceplates.
