To encourage diverse medical service learning experiences to promote a culturally sensitive world-view, and to help prepare students for international medical experiences that are well-planned, productive, and as safe as possible.
Always check the Department of State website before international travel, as they regularly update Traveler Warnings and other important information for overseas travelers.

International 3 Credit Elective Travel/Study Courses
The Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences (MSASS) offers various overseas short-term undergraduate and graduate 3 credit elective courses throughout the year. They take place during Winter, Spring and Summer Breaks. Each one is an exciting opportunity to see and learn about another part of the world.
