Combine your love of social and behavioral science with stats for a unique research career

Nov. 23 at 7:30 PM ET

Master’s of Science in Biostatistics

The CWRU MS Biostatistics program has a unique track designed specifically for students coming from the social and behavioral sciences who want to be a part of research in these areas, and have strong quantitative aptitude. If you took a stats course for your major and you really liked it, this might be the perfect program and career!

Students will be trained to be analysts and research assistants in the social and behavioral sciences, including anthropology, sociology, psychology and social work.

Aside from a common core of courses, students in this track will take a set of 4 courses consisting of the most commonly used advanced statistical courses in social and behavioral science research, and a course in qualitative and mixed methods.

As a graduate of our program in this track, you will be in demand by social and behavioral science investigators as one of the few people who can combine an understanding of the field, with being a statistician with qualitative and mixed methods training as well.

Have a look around our website. And note the information on the next webinar – either for the program as a whole, or one that is specific to this track.
