Mehmet Koyuturk is a Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Purdue University, and his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Bilkent University, respectively in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. His research focuses on the analysis of biological networks, systems biology of complex diseases, and computational genomics. Mehmet also serves in the steering committee of CWRU's graduate programs in Systems Biology and Bioinformatics and he is an associate editor for IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (TCBB).
I analyze high-throughput biological data, algorithmic and analytical methods in systems/network biology, algorithms for data mining and analysis, parallel computing, algorithms for distributed systems, and optimization problems in scientific computing.
